How it works ?
The project starts with returned IKEA furniture, which is collected and selected based on what can be reused.
Each piece is then cleaned and modified to hold natural elements like moss and stones. Openings and containers are added so these materials can be placed inside without affecting how the furniture is used.
The result is furniture that still works in everyday life, but also brings in small, living elements of nature. These pieces require minimal care while adding texture, moisture, and variation to indoor spaces.
Displayed in an IKEA showroom for 2 months, the installation allows people to experience these objects directly and rethink what returned furniture can become.
